hair care
Washing
- NEVER wash your hair with extremely hot water. Over time this can weaken your knots and bundles. Always wash your hair with Luke-warm water.
- Using silicon mix on bundles is NOT RECOMMENDED as it dries out hair, it is recommended to wash your raw hair bundles with a moisturising sulphate-free conditioner or shampoo.
- Wash your bundles at least every 2-3 weeks. Going any longer than a month without washing your raw hair can cause matting and excessive build-up of product.
- Boost your hair's health with a paraben and sulphate-free deep conditioning mask for extra care. Let it soak in for 12-24 hours to bring back that soft, silky texture.
- To prevent loosening and shedding over time, refrain from applying conditioner directly to the knots of your frontal or closure. Instead, focus on areas with product build up, keeping the conditioner at least an inch away from the knots.
combing & brushing
- Use a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb to gently distribute the product from roots to ends, minimising hair loss.
- Brush your hair from the tip to the root daily, with care.
- Use a soft bristle brush to prevent snagging.
- Please AVOID aggressively scratching lace when scalp is itchy, this can cause the frontal/closure to bald prematurely.
styling
- Do NOT cut the wefts on your bundles as this can cause premature shedding.
- Use lightweight oils and moisturisers to maintain moisture and sheen. However, these types of products should be used sparingly as too much can give your hair a greasy look.
- Avoid using excessive heat on your hair as much as you can. Anytime you do use a hot tool, always use a heat protectant beforehand.
- Allow your hair to air dry naturally. Avoid using a blow dryer, as excessive heat can potentially damage the hair fibres.
- Always tie/braid your hair back and use a bonnet or silk scarf when sleeping.
