As a hairstylist with years of experience, I can confidently say that hair from Ali almost never meets the standard. The fibres are often thin, brittle, and prone to tangling and shedding. It might look good when freshly styled, but give it a few washes and you’ll see the truth.

Most Ali vendors use what’s known as scrap hair — mixed sources of hair that aren’t properly aligned or cleaned. This results in wigs and bundles that lack uniformity and durability. In short, it’s not hair meant to last.
3. Not True Full Lace or Transparent Lace
Many wigs advertised as 13x4 or 13x6 lace don’t actually use that measurement throughout. Often, the 13x6 depth is only in the middle section, while the sides are closer to 13x3. This means you won’t be able to achieve a proper side part, even though it’s marketed as a full frontal. It’s misleading, and clients don’t always get what they’re paying for.

Even with the best maintenance, hair from Ali rarely lasts beyond 3 to 6 months. It’s simply not made for longevity. While I can make it look good in the chair, most clients find it difficult to maintain after the install, especially when dealing with tangling, matting, shedding and frizz.
